you will beat this. I am now living proof after nearly 20 years of hell. Eat moderately and sparingly depending on your daily activity (but don't starve yourself especially if you are active as you will need the energy), CHEW each mouthful of your food right down till its nearly liquid, take your time while eating (resist the urge to rush whether from appetite or time constraints), if you rush your meals the desired effect will not be obtained. Be aware of how your stomach feels during and after taking in food, you will notice that after a few days of proper chewing that your stomach will not feel as full despite eating the same amount of food, you may notice that your stomach does not become bloated after eating, these are sure signs that you are heading in the right direction and that your stomach is beginning to carry out its tasks properly without the burden of excessive amounts of poorly chewed and undigestable food getting in the way. You are now on the way to self cleansing the natural way, and the only way. Also do not drink too much either, stay away from alcohol and sweet drinks, your diet should be based on fruits, vegetables, bread and meat, keep it simple, ignore the fancy diets, keep it simple and eat moderately, chewing everything right down as much as possible. You will find that in order to chew properly you will spend longer at the dinner table, do it! Another important factor is that if you are overweight, start moving, not by going from 0 to 100 in an instant but gradually, you don't need to run marathons, just get up and walk for at least 45 minutes each and everyday, this greatly aids digestion and a general feeling of wellbeing. If you get yourself into shape and chew your food properly and carry out these tasks religiously, you will attain your desired goal sooner or later, just have patience.
At the moment I am sweating like crazy in this hot weather and have not had a shower for 2 days, my armpits smell like NORMAL sweat, GONE is the OFFENSIVE ODOUR. I can now have a shower and instead of smelling like crap within 10-15 minutes of having the shower, there is now no smell at all, I do not need to put on deoderants or anything like that at all, that is how good it is and I am going to make sure that I keep it that way by staying in shape, eating moderately, and most importantly chewing my food properly.
A word of warning: If after having succeeded in ridding yourself of your body odour you return to unhealthy habits, you will inevitably fall back into your previous position.

Just to clarify: the main point I am making is to chew your food properly until it is liquefied or as much as it can be chewed, do this for each and every meal, if you eat your dinner by chewing well but then you eat your lunch by only chewing a little bit, it won't work, everything that goes down you must be chewed thoroughly. You will be forced to take your time while eating, so resist the urge to rush as well as the urge to gulp food down, relax and savour the food. Also be careful not to drink too much while you're eating, wait at least half an hour after you eat before having a small glass of water. The other points I made about cutting down on how much you eat and exercising are also important especially if you are overweight or obese, assuredly you will make no progress if you are significantly overweight or obese, your organs including your stomach are not working anywhere near the efficiency they should be while you are overweight or obese. For those that are significantly overweight, just cutting back on how much you eat by half as well as chewing your food properly as I've mentioned above should see you lose a good deal of weight immediately within the first week or two of your new regime, after that you will have to go for walks to keep it going.
Do what I said above about chewing, feel and take note of your stomach before and after eating, you should not feel anywhere near as full as you used to after meals if you chew properly, always finish eating while you still have an appetite, do not try to fit more in just because you don't feel as full as you used to. It took me a week of doing this and the body odour was gone (its now been three weeks and this I can assure you is now permanent), it may take more or less time for others, just have patience and keep persisting by doing the things I mentioned above. Avoid soft drinks, sugary drinks, sweets, lollies and fast food like the plague, ignore all fancy diets, just stick to fruits, vegetables, bread & lean meat, eat moderately and hopefully you'll be on your way.

Sounds interesting. What kind of body odor did you have, what other symptoms?

Mainly armpit odour but I swear I could smell bad odour coming from all over my body, especially my upper body in general, the odour could smell like anything, rottenness, you name it. I had no other symptoms apart from heavy sweating, boy could I sweat even in cold weather where I would have wet patches under my arms from the sweating, stained clothes etc, perhaps nervousness and a general sense of paranoia contributed to this as well. I still sweat heavily though i'm not bothered by it, there's nothing wrong with heavy sweating as long as you don't have underlying problems, in fact I think there is much benefit to it. To anyone considering getting their sweat glands removed or something like that, don't! The body odour is not caused by the sweating, in fact you don't have to be sweating to actually smell really bad as I and many others on here can attest to, the body breathes out through the pores of the skin without the presence of sweat, it is this foul stench coming from the engine room of the body (namely the stomach) that is the cause of body odour.
After I got rid of this offensive odour by chewing my food properly, I noticed out of nowhere another odour coming from my arse, never had this before, it was a strange odour like that of gastric juices, this persisted for a couple of days after I got rid of my main odour problem, now its gone as well. This confirms my belief that our body odour problems are definitely related to poor digestive function. I would consider myself like most people to be a little run down, thus the simple act of chewing my food properly (30 chews per mouthful) was a test of whether the issue was stomach related, particularly the efficacy of the stomach to digest food properly and my hunch proved to be correct, after a few days of proper chewing the stomach was relieved of a good deal of stress and responded by improved digestion which cut back on the rotten smell of poorly digested food diffused through the pores of the skin.

Don't forget that a 24hr fast here and there could prove extremely useful in aiding your stomach's weakened digestive state, in conjunction with chewing your food properly of course. So on day 3 or 4 of your new 'chewing regime' throw in a 24hr fast, then maybe a week later throw in another 24hr fast, these short fasts are of great utility when you are already trying to cut some slack for the stomach by chewing properly.
