In this post it's suggested that trimethylamine oxidase can be partly inactivated by CONSUMING HIGH LEVELS OF DIETARY TANNIS AND GLUCOSINOLATES in chickens who have tmau symptoms LINK: www.wattagnet.com/Detect_and_eliminate_%E2%80%98fish_taint%E2%80%99.htmlThis is HUGE! I looked into which foods have Tannis (Tannin) and I came across a link listing all the foods that have it:http://www.widomaker.com/~jnavia/tannins/tannherb.htm the main thing to getting this to work is going to be finding the right DOSAGE. When I started taking my other supplements i moticed they would work initially then lose potency. this was because I was using TOO LITTLE of everything. When I realized this I increased my dosages and I'm currently taking 3,000 MG of L-arginine, l-ornithine and 1,000 l-lysine and its helping a lot. I will increase according to my symptoms. I suggest people do the same when trying this. beans are on the list but I don't know if they are safe to consume for tmau sufferers? THEN: Glucosinolates are present in relatively high concentrations in cruciferous vegetables, but cooking, particularly boiling and microwaving at high power, may decrease the bioavailability of isothiocyanates. (More Information) Introduction Cruciferous vegetables, such as broccoli, cabbage, and kale, are rich sources of sulfur-containing compounds called glucosinolates. So there we have it. Eating LARGE amounts of KALE and Black cohosh is probably a TMAU safe way to go concerning large amounts of TANNIS and GLUCOSINOLATES. I EXPLCITLY FEEL THAT CONSUMING VERY HIGH AMOUNTS OF THESE ITEMS is KEY. But then again we are told by tmau diet that over eating isn't good for controlling the odor. So the next idea is pills. Kale pills: www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=kale+pills&tbm=shopGlucosinolates pills: www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=black+cohosh&tbm=shopI will be trying this!

Hi mona You've really been on a role their with this. Once again you seem to make a difference in people lives whose battling this condition. I'm nowhere as far as you are with my condition.I've made attempts,But not nearly as many as yourself. I commend you 100%. I did just came from a doctor appointment and I suppose to have gotten a injection in my neck for pain ,but decided to try physical therapy first. It was first visit. As usual I got the coughs, stares, even heard the staff talking loud enough for me to hear the comments being made about me. So before I left I decided to write a message letting them know that I heard them and that it's not okay to talk about clients in a negative way. That if they don't know or understand something about the person they shouldn't assume the worst instead they should show compassion for all. I put it on the receptionist desk I meant to hand it to the dr,but he walked away so fast .I'm sure they knew that it was from me.Bet they didn't expect that or shall I say see that coming! Hahahaa!! Anyhow I did finally looked up some new drs. I just set a appt with an endocrinologist who specialize in hormones, metabolism, nutritionist, and diabetes. So that's a go for me. I just didn't think it would be so long before I be seen.Which won't be until Feb 2015 for new patients.Although this seems very far away I'm looking forward to this visit.I would like to know how far this dr can take me in my search for the truth and answers to hopefully being diagnosed instead of going undiagnosed and not knowing what is the real issue behind an unknown medical condition. Then I can maybe start some of this new supplements you've suggested with his approval first. My primary dr doesn't seem to know how to help me.So I'm just going on my own lonesome self. It's always a pleasure to read your post and hear the excitement in your words! Glad 2 know you're well! God bless you mona and keep you with a sane and sound mind to continue on with your search...

God bless you too Malisha I have been reading more about the tannis ect ect seams you can not take pills foe these two ingredients. Were must consume large amounts of the above ingredients in FOOD. I don't know how I can do that since over eating is a no-no for tmau sufferers and so is eating broccoli, ect ect Kale is allowed but I read that I must eat "large amounts" which again falls under 'over eating'. So I'm planning to over and see where it goes. I just came across a VERY interesting theory of WHY doctors are SO RUDE to us and even say they don't "Smell" us. I was reading an article here:http://henrymakow.com/incest_survivor_lifted_veil_on.html LINK TO OPRAH INTERVIEW m.youtube.com/watch?v=n7QXz6hDtxIAbout a woman who went on the OPRAH SHOW and did about interview where she spoke of SATANIC CULTS and entire families who where involved in these cults. WHAT stuck out to me was the part where she said this: "Nobody would suspect anybody involved in it. There's police officers involved in it. There's, you know, DOCTORS, lawyers..." DO you see what she said there? DOCTORS!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW Malisha let's think about this for a second. Yes we know that we do not struggle against flesh and blood but against principalities and evil in high places. In society being a doctor comes with a lot of prestige. So it only figures that evil in high places could involve the medical world. These people, these doctors who say they don't smell anything and try to send us to psychiatrsts... now I understand WHY. I believe this is why most of us who suffer of BO or BB find doctors to be of little help. They are in my opinion, either they are satanist or not, moved by a spirit of errogance and hate and have no compassion. So when a doctor tells u nothing is wrong don't worry and just be vigilant and pray God directs you in the right directions

Mona, I'm not sure about the whole evil thing. But I'll tell you this - not all doctors are created equal. Plus, they are like everyone else in a lot of ways. They all have different temperament, dispositions, etc. The real issue that's working against us that there isn't a lot of understanding about our condition. It's like modern-day leprosy, there's so much shame, stigma, taboo surrounding it that it's difficult to make any kind of breakthrough. Also, since it's not a life-threatening condition, it tend to not get as much attention as something like cancer or heart disease. I remember reading about a condition called, Morgellons. It's a condition where people had strange fibers growing out of their own bodies, and for decades, they were told that it was a delusion. Sounds familiar? I'm pretty sure there are a handful of disease that are little-known to the current medical establishment. Read the full article in the link below and see how one person can change people's attitude from 'you're crazy' to 'oh, you have Morgellons'. Can this happen with us and our condition? I really hope so. www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2011/may/07/morgellons-mysterious-illness

It could be @mark
But for sure I know these satanist doctors are around and believe me they are not interested in helping people like us.
If anything they would like nothing better than to see us suffer.

I just read your post and Mark's post. They both was interesting to read!! I did take the liberty to click on the site for the satanic episode from one of Oprah's past show.I've seen it before. Also the Morgellons, I've heard of the name before, but never knew what it was until now. However with what you stated about the Drs not wanting to help us BO sufferers or admit to smelling any odor that comes from us,in my opinion could possibly be that they don't know how to handle this. They don't want to offend us.Even would just push us to the side ,as going so far to say we have a mental condition. I've been to a eye dr. office for my then two young chiildren before. Now me being the way I was I already feel bad by this,I over hear the dr.telling another dr over the phone that I smell really bad. Yeah things like this happen also. They know we smell, but don't say anything until we aren't around.I happen to be walking to the back and overheard him with his door open talking on the phone. Before anyone says he probably wasn't referring to me,again I and my two children was his only patients that morning. No other people was there! So this is my take on things dealing with our BO.

Has anyone tried black tea? I tried many, many things that didn't work, then black tea(tetleys) 2 bags in one cup 3 times a day. This really changed my life. No more odor. Really hope this helps someone.

I had no idea that L-Lysine could be used in conjunction with other amino acids to help significantly reduce TMAU symptoms. I was taking L-LYSINE as a natural pain reliever, but I see it has other benefits too! Now I know why people are not running away from me in the opposite direction! 😃Lol!

I have read a lot about this the last few months trying to rule this problem out for a friend. He asked me if he smelled the other day and honestly I never really paid attention to it until he brought it out. What I've noticed is when he consumes processed foods and high fat foods like egg yolks(not whites) It seems to be more noticeable and after sweating. He's been focusing on a diet with a lot of leafy greens and moderate protein levels, all grass fed and organic vegetable and proteins he is also drinking 8-10 cups of water and taking these: digestive enzymes www.rx-discountcoupons.com/pharmacies/sale-pharm-com/ 100% plant based. These seem to really help him, but I really think that its the overall diet and water intake. I haven't really read about people watching their water intake. It seems to really flush him out when he drinks the recommended amount. I hope this helps and any other ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Has anyone else had any success with the amino acid supplements? WE could be onto something. Its so difficult living with this condition. People cant understand this curse that affects all areas of our lives. I suffer from hairloss too which anything I am supposed to take for hair loss is not recommended for tmau. Its crazy.
