Hi,
I'm currently waiting for my TMAU tests. It looks like it's going to take a few more weeks!! Anyway, I took the choline load the day before taking the test as instructed. I ate 400g of baked beans and 2 eggs. The next day, my odour was still the same as on previous days. It didn't get any worse from eating a high choline meal. Would I almost be safe in saying that I don't have TMAU, or at least not TMAU1?

Hi, I was tested a couple months ago and came back positive tmau1. The choline load (eating eggs and beans) and taking the tablets caused burping of a horrific odor, plus diahrreah and stomach ache.

Valarijc,
Thanks so much for your reply.
I didn't have any symptoms after taking the choline load (that I could detect myself) whatsoever. I have waited 6weeks for test results. How much longer do I need to wait??
