Hi I'm a middle aged female who has suffered from persistent BO that ranges from smelling like burnt chicken, mustiness, sewage, yeast and corn for the past 7 years. The odour started out as mild but became severe two years ago with the advent of gastrointestinal issues as well. Nine doctors have yet to diagnose me with anything. I tested negative for TMAU and H. Pylori and a colonoscopy, gastroscopy and other blood work showed nothing either. My GP has given up so I was forced to go to walk in clinics. I'm pretty sure it's systemic candida but unfortunately the many traditional and alternative medicines have not helped. I am severely depressed over this, do not socialize and am housebound except for work. Having this condition makes me feel so alone. If anyone in North America wants to talk please get back.

Hello I have the same problem as you. I also SUFFER from bo since birth with the occurrence of fbo 7 years ago and am also housebound except for work. I tested negative for tmau from mebo, blood work normal, colonoscopy, gastroscopy, abdominal and pelvic mri and cat scan showed up nothing. ph is normal 4.2, no stds, bacterial test showed altered flora not consistent with bacterial vaginosis and no yeast, altered flora is probably from all the stuff ive been trying ranging from chlorophyll to surgical wash (hibiclens) with no luck. I feel VERY alone every day. since i cannot smell anything myself it's hard to adjust to other people around me sometimes. id give anything to get rid of the smell. I have also never met anyone with bo before and i would like to make friends and be in a bo support group where we can really understand what the other person is going through.
