Things to consider trying to avoid apart from choline, sugar and dairy which seem the most common problems - cruciferous veg, meat, garlic / onion family, alcohol, processed food.
I think it's important people see that these problems are individual and the individual needs to try different things out one at a time to see what works. For example I have a definite problem with sugar but choline and dairy don't seem a problem. Some people have been trying really over the top diets that aren't healthy and won't even indicate what the offending foods are because they've cut so much out.

PS My last two posts were aimed at odour sufferers in general. Maybe this thread is aimed only at TMAU sufferers as it's posted in that section.

Jcc34,
Yes, this post is for TMAU sufferers. The info you posted applies, though. ;D. I was hoping to get some input from other sufferers here so we have a place to direct new people who are wondering about the diet.
Lethicin and soy is in all packaged foods and we need to avoid these also.

I think the problem with cruciferous vegs is not their being sulfurous but that they inhibit body's FMO3 function (by which the body metabolizes TMA to TMAO). This happens also with people without TMAU.
