Hi, I`m here to answer your questions.
I`ts a combination, but mostly the diet does it, since it reduces the amount of whatever cause the condition. I say whatever because they are not exactly sure yet about which of the enzymes is the one responsible for the damage. From the very moment we are conceived, all the movement in our body responds to a conjunction of millions of element that combine themselves to build, sustain, and maintain what turns into what we are now. Nothing inside us happens by coincidence
So, the B2 and baking soda are accessories that complete the process. B2 I take it in a half an hour after my last meal, and baking soda right before bed time, but only when I feel discomfort in the digestion process. Time ago I read an article which said that to much baking soda may cause distress in the lungs, interrupting the transfer of oxygen by the blood cells, which could end in damage to the brain. I love reading, and I read just about any subject.
Baking soda raises up the ph. What I feel is that it camouflages the odour, changing the essence and reducing its strength, making it less severe and less perceivable for others.
About vitamin B2, it is required by the body to use oxygen and the metabolism of amino acids, fatty acids, and carbohydrates (synthesizes). It is also further needed to activate vitamin B6; helps to crate niacin and assist the adrenal gland, among other benefits, including cells perspiration.
Acording to an RDI report: “Subsequent to the discovery of thiamin was the discovery of a more heat-stable factor that was named vitamin B2, or riboflavin. Riboflavin is a water-soluble, yellow, fluorescent compound. The primary form of the vitamin is as an integral component of the coenzymes flavin mononucleotide (FMN) and flavin-adenine dinucleotide (FAD) (McCormick, 1994; McCormick and Greene, 1994; Merrill et al., 1981). It is in these bound coenzyme forms that riboflavin functions as a catalyst for redox reactions in numerous metabolic pathways and in energy production (McCormick and Greene, 1994).”
That last section highlighted in black, related to conversion of sub product into energy, is the last step of the food chain reaction in the digestion process, which final product is energy. It is an attribute of FMO3, and B2 is the closest one in reaching that achievement. That`s the reason for me to adopt them.
In the other hand, I`ll suggest you to do your own research, since we all are biologically different; suit yourself according to your body needs. When I read, hear, or see something I run to the Internet and investigate more than one source to make sure they coincide. For example, I read at MEBOS web page, that we should avoid anything that triggers the liver; and that only tip answered me many questions I had about some supplements that I use to intake. I thought they were helping me, when it was the opposite. Just watch and listen your body talk, it tells you what is good and what is bad.
When liver gets triggered, it increases its defences, and so does trimethylamine too.
As to me, Im sure that alcohol, fat, meat, milk, and red beans are among my worst enemies. I still eat them but carefully, and controlling them. Saturday and Sunday I had milk included in my breakfast, then chicken at dinner time. B2 last night, baking soda tonight. Today, tomorrow and after, I wont ingest any protein at all. Depending on how I feel on Wednesday, then I`ll decide what to eat. That is how I manage it.
About your last question, still watching. Don`t think is working.
Thanks for your inquire, and I hope it helps you a bit. I`m here to listen, when ever you need it.
Have a nice day...
always and everyday.
