I used to go on the old forum but have been in denial But things have become worse and now i have to make a change. I had a Tmau test last september but it came back as 10.1. So not enough to be classed as secondary tmau. But i still suffer with lots of odour and bad breath. My odours range from fish, eggy, fecal, sweaty, and others that are horrid. My worst at the moment is urine, my hands really smell of it. But i can't really smell myself and just go off what my family say i smell of. I have been on the diet last week but broke it at weekend with lots of spices and some beer and paid for it. So back on a really strict one this week and already noticing a difference. Hands not smelling as strong and breath seems better. But have been coming on and reading for helpful tips and just need to get some recipes as i'm eating the same thing just to make a difference initially and see if the choline diet works for me. My problem is I always feel deprived when everyone else is eating what they like, my hurdle i need to get over.

Hey Joy, I know it's very hard to stick to the diets, maybe if you distanced yourself from your family a little or asked them to help motivate you on your diet so you won't feel as pressured to eat the foods they're eating.

Hiya trundle and thanks for the advice. I'm good for a week and then come weekend I want to pig out and then don't leave the house for fear of remarks. I had a follow up appointment last week from my Tmau test and the doc has suggested antibiotics but not sure on that one, can't see it will make much long term difference. I need to break my comfort/treat attachment to food and view it differently to stop the anxiety i create.

I know how difficult that can be, but after a while of eating healthy food you don't even want the crap anymore good luck!
