Just a reminder about the Southern USA meet up.

Here is the info:

The Meet Up for the Southern USA is all planned: The dates are 03/23/12-03/24/12
Those who would like to - can stay at the Best Western Chateau Suite Hotel which is centrally located and just 2 blocks from the river and the pedestrian bridge in Shreveport. There will be a meet and greet at 8:30pm in the massive lobby under the entry hall chandelier for those that are lucky enough to get there Friday night. There is a bar at the hotel for those that would like to enjoy a drink while meeting up in the lobby. The big official meet up will be at "The Spread" (previously called The Village Square Buffet) at the Horseshoe Casino at 2 pm on Saturday March 24. The Horseshoe Casino is just a block from the pedestrian bridge on the other side of the river from the hotel. The cost for the all you can eat buffet is $14.99. The buffet hall is huge. They serve an international fare so hopefully there is something for everyone.

They have rooms starting at $91 and the suites even have kitchenettes for those that like to cook their meals.
A free breakfast buffet is included also.

Yes, Definitely this is still on!!!! I can't wait to see all those that are able to be there!
Just 10 more days!!!! You will know how to pick which one I am, as I will be the one with a Margarita in my hand smiling under chandelier (at the Best Western Chateau Suite Hotel at 8:30pm). Or if you can't make it until Saturday then I will meet you at The Spread at the Horseshoe Casino at 2 pm.

Looking forward to this. I can't wait to meet everyone. I plan to drive down early on Friday so i can be there mid-day and do some sightseeing and check in.

Great Mike - I will see you there. The weather is supposed to be sunny and 77 degrees. Perfect for site seeing. If anyone else is able to get there early to meet up with Mike and I please let me know. It should be a great weekend for this!

Hi,
Just wanted to say how much fun the Southern USA Meet Up was. It was memorable! The weather was great! The company was great! The food was for the most part great and of course I have to say the margaritas were great. We did a lot of walking and exploring and I feel tremendously recharged. It was just relaxing to not have to worry about where you stood in line or where you sat at a restaurant, or whether you were standing too close to anyone etc.

If anyone is interested in doing a meet up in the Houston or Galveston area. Just let me know and I can work on it in the future. Also if anyone is visiting Houston and wants to get together. Just e-mail me and I will post a quick meet up at a Central Houston Restaurant so others could meet up as well.
