Hi, I was wondering if anyone is interested in doing a meet up in Shreveport, LA in March. I was communicating with Helen from Houston, TX and Mike from Bentonville, AR and I think that Shreveport would be a great central tourist town to meet at. Shreveport, LA has a lot to offer, including gambling, bicycle and walking paths (on the river front) and more. Here is a website to check out: www.shreveportbossierfunguide.com/feature.php?id=12 j Please let me know if there is any interest in this and further planning can be done. It would be great just to get together and see our smiling faces and laugh a little. Kim

Hi Kim,
First let me say thanks for putting your energy into organizing this.
I just want to let you know that I will not be available the week of March 11th to 17th. I have family coming to town for that week. I figured I'd put that information out there before we start settling on an actual date and time. I'm good for any other time in March, though.
Thanks,
Mike

Great Steve from Dallas! I hope we can get a big crowd and really have some fun! I was reading about a London meet up and they were saying to "not shutter ourselves in as that doesn't work" and I think that is a great line. Let's for once just get away and just live a little! Kim

Wow! I didn't realize there were so many people with TMAU in the area. It looks like we have around six people so far. I can't wait to meet everyone, share advice, and share stories.

Hi,
I'm 26, I live in Houston and have been dealing with halitosis for the last 5 years. Like everyone else here, I've spent countless hours and thousands of dollars trying get a diagnosis. I had ran across TMAU in my initial search, but quickly moved on because of the misleading "fish odor" label. I just recently got tested last Thursday and am awaiting results. I'm praying that this is the answer so I can begin to get my life back. Even if I don't test positive, I'd still be interested in meeting up and hearing the perspectives of other people who suffer with odor problems.

Hi Lauren, Welcome aboard! I have learned so much from this post and the yahoo posts. I have definitely changed my life with all that I have learned and all for the better. The other posts on the strict low choline diet have done me a world of good!
I can't wait to meet others with this same problem. I really would just like to shake someone's hand who also has this so I KNOW that I am finally not alone with this problem! It should be a lot of fun!!!
I hope you can make it to Shreveport. Let me know if you need anything. Kim
