If I was YOU I would be VERY straight forward. He will get mad/upset at first but with time this should pass (A LOT OF TIME). I know how this is because my significant other was indirect with me, wouldn't be honest and it just hurt maybe just the same as if they'd said "YOU SMELL LIKE POOPY and I HATEEEEEEEEE it. I wish I never met you" haha isnt that insane? he just doesnt know that being told upfront is better than not being told. #funny how you told him the shower was free. I have had my SO use that method and it pissed me off because i had/have/am battling this so hard right now and hearing that really makes me mad. So I can't imagine what he felt but remember thats not important what matters is HELPING UR BF you guys should try what has actually HELPED ME. 1) I take 1,500 MG of L-Arginine and 1,500 of L-Ornithine first thing in the morning. 2)I have breakfast and then take 500 MG of L-Arginine and 500 MG of L-Ornithine. 3)I keep taking 500 MG of L-Arginine and 500 MG of L-Ornithine with each meal I have. but NOT OVER EATING IS IMPORTANT. 4)RIGHT BEFORE I GO OUT IN PUBLIC OR MEET UP WITH MY SO/PARTNER I take an antibiotic (500 MG of Cipro). This reduces the odor BIG TIME. 5) during ALL THIS I MAKE SURE TO URINATE EVERY #) MINUTES and drink LOTS OF ARROWHEAD WATER (it has little flouride. he needs to avoid flouride). downside is: the odor regains strength and returns as soon as I eat again. This might not be the same with ur Boyfriend so just have him try it and see what happens. he could have: Candida TMAU (take him to the doctor and explain that he has an odor then have him do genetic testing to see if he has this) parasites Ect so look each thing up on www.Curezone.com and take appropiate steps if the above method doesn't help/work good luck

Hello all, I thought I would share my experience. When I was younger I use to sweat a lot..finally I got tired and went to a dermatologist and he said I had hyper hydrosis which is excessive sweating.. he prescribed me this medication for my underarms...u wear it at night with no deodorant then wash it off in the morning and wear your regular deodorant. I must say it kind of burns and itch a bit but I was determined to stick with it and glad I did... I now barely sweat at all and never have odor issues and it have been like 18 years ago..it was a miracle for me...

This is a very delicate matter indeed. My boyfriend got angry almost violent when I said it's not normal behaviour to wear the same sweaty smelly clothes and repeat the next day and the next day and the next day sleep in them sweat in them and wear them for an intire week with skid marks and all and I'm having to grit my teeth and bare it. I feel physical sick when I can smell his stinky sweaty clothes like I want to throw up. I'm so extreamly grossed out by this I feel physiacally like I want to throw up! 😵😵 his apauling hygiene has made him irate towards me. He says I should learn to love it. Like Napolean who didn't want his women to wash for a week when he came back from war so they would be stinky for him. He thinks I should accept this how he is.
And this has greatly effected our relationship and the main reason I don't want to have sex again. But I don't think this is normal behaviour to wear the same sweaty smelly clothes again and again and sweat more in them and wear it again the next day for an intireweek. The worst is he doesn't care about his hygiene at all. And is highly offended if I say anything about it. He brushes his teeth once a week if that, lives in the same clothes sweating in them and re-wearing them the next day for weeks. Like a homeless person like a hobo would do. But he's a successful business man who is too lazy to care about his hygiene. So I don't know what leads him to think this is acceptable behaviour. He is offended when I Bring it up about how the smell of his body and sweat of the clothes is making me extremely bilious, I'm physically nauseous about him not taking care of his hygiene. I don't want to offend him but what can I do in this case we're He takes offence and gets angry at me for telling him the truth of the matter that the fact that his hygiene is appallingly and it is not acceptable for anyone to have to put up with stench like this. I hate having to clean up his skid mark bed sheets at home or his jeans he leaves skid marks in and still wears for a week because he refuses to wear underwear. It's intolerable. His junk smells like rotting seafood left out in the sun for days. And that is the reason I'm repulsed to have sex with him because he continues to ignore his hygiene is the worse and gets angry at me for bringing up saying I only care about myself. And that I don't think about anyone else's feelings. He's deeply offended but so am I about him funky smell that's making me irate too as well as nauseous! 😣

I totally agree with Diane, same issues - here with my ex - He thought it was normal behaviour. Honestly what man thinks that a women should tolerate anyone who doesn't take care of there hygiene or even know that there grossing their women out and making them suffer and damage them by making them feel guilty because of the way their man smells! Never be afraid to speak out about it! Even if the guy will get angry or even violent. They need to know otherwise anyone they date will just dump their dum skid mark dirty add and leave them without saying why? Why can't some men see their own grossness and be grossed out themselves by their own stench when they smell their rotting sweaty clothing that these men just keep on wearing without washing. How did their parents bring them up? Where are these men raised in a pig style? 🐷🙊 What women would tolerate that for so long and clean his skid mark sheets and skid mark sweaty pooey pants soooooooo gross!!! Nasty beyond belief and I'm surprised their not embarrassed 😩 that their girlfriend has too scrub and wash their clothes for him. Disgusting Beyond belief! Absolutely herendous. Was he like that when you first met him? What was your first impression when you met this man did he stink? Or did you find out latter his hygiene was at its ultimate worse? Better to be single by far than tolerate that shitty, dirty smelly behaviour and poor attitude from any guy! Who is angry and hurt that you are telling him straight and the truth he needs to hear it you can't be polite about this for so long that is one gross man. You have to be direct about these things otherwise they will never care about them self or others by how they smell. Their next girlfriend will just walk away never to return their calls and they will wonder why. My ex smelt like a rotting pig 🐷 When sleeping beside me seriously he didn't care how I felt either! He was like a massive fat rotting pig corpse beside me and it was better to leave him in the end because he just didn't care about washing his clothes or his body for that matter only when it suited him. Your better off alone Diana trust me. It will be such a relief to get your life back away from that nasty smell or rotting seafood who wants to smell that for the rest of their life seriously? Leave him and live the life you want- free from a smelly stinky dirty guy and he can get somone else to do his grotty nasty laundry for him and not you!

I don't know what's going on with this board now anymore. When Arun started it, it was supposed to be a support forum for people to figure out this odour thing. Somehow it's become a place where ignorant teenage girls bash their BFs who happens to have a BO problem?

My husband of 14 years, together 21 years, works a very laborious job and hardly ever showers or brushes his teeth, unless I say hey did you brush yet...he stinks quite frankly but he gets very defensive like when I say anything. Like tonight in front of our oldest, he's 20, I said to him that he showers the least out of everyone I know. No B.O he wears deodorant every day, but he smells like swamp ass. He lies and says he washes up every morning, no he gets up like 15 minutes before he has to leave for work, throws on clothes runs a brush through his hair and maybe brushes his teeth. Today, once again our oldest came to me complaining that when Dad drives him to work with the windows up the smell is bad, on top of his morning breath if he hasn't brushed consisting of the beer and cigs from the night before and the cigs since. I'm partially disabled so sex can be painful at times but due to his lack of hygiene we've gone from a few times a week to once a month if that, what do I do? After all these years we still can't talk about anything because he gets defensive, twists what I'm saying or he's drinking which is daily so he tends to go jekyll and Hyde on me. How do I tell him he stinks? His longest stretch without a shower was like 2 weeks. I mention our room smelling funky like ass or some kind of funk he blames his work boots. HELP!
