Hi everyone, I've been coming to this board and reading for a while now, searching for a solution. My problem: strong body odor that wouldn't go away for the life of me! I would shower, apply ANY type of deodorant, and several minutes later I could smell an onion-like, sweat- BO smell. All my shirts began to smell horrible and I completely ruined many clothes because the stench is so bad that it wouldn't wash out. Ive suffered from this since puberty and from what I've noticed nothing has seemed to work. I tried everything externally (applying vinegar, baking soda, extra strength deodorant to the armpit) drinking water doesn't seem to make it any more milder... ANYHOW... Randomly, I tried DRINKING organic apple cider vinegar and noticed that it kept me smelling clean! Now I drink about 2 tablespoons in water with some honey every morning (sometimes at night too, if I need some extra power if it was a stressful day) . The ACV (i use braggs) makes my deodorant actually WORK. I feel like a somewhat normal person now. Like my body actually responds to basic hygiene regimen and I can go my whole day without catching whiffs of myself and feeling embarrassed and not wanting to move. I DO think that I need new clothes though bc like I said a lot of my clothes seem permanently soiled due to my strong odor before using ACV. But I really don't care about that as much. Anyhow, I hope this helps someone who also has this type of odor. It seems to work immediately for me also. I ran out last week and went right back to smelling like a freaking sailor.... So i stocked up this time. I won't run out again.
If for any reason, this stops working for me or I experience any weird side effects I will let you guys know. but for now its been a god send for me. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and I am very relieved.
(ps- I also had mild relief with liquid chlorophyll but nothing to write home about, it was messy and too annoying to take in high enough doses to get it work, but if you want to experiment with that, i'd say go for it.)
