My situation is driving me crazy i hate even talking about it but oh well. I have this odor problem that only happens at work and only happens when its hot. its been goin on since i started a few years ago. When i first started it was fall then when summer came it started, all the comments and hints that i smell. I didnt understand and just blew it off thinking it was just the smell of beer coming out of my pores cuz i drank alot then. Well i dont drink any more and the summers are growinw worse. Ive ruled out almost every thing u can think of over this last summer. I cant smell it my self and now i think its coming from my face. I was thinkig my sinuses but when its real hot ive been told i smell from a person who is workin 10 feet from me. Makes no sense and everone outside of work thinks im crazy cuw they smell nothing. I dont want to quit this job cuz i make good $. It just doesnt make sense im very clean and when i get home my pits still smell good from deoderant. oh well just lost

sounds like olfactory reference syndrome to me.
"all the comments and hints" "smell of beer coming out of my pores" "now i think it's coming from my face"
get someone from outside of work to meet you while you're at work, and see that still say they don't smell anything, and maybe that will help you relax.

Hi there, well with the greatest of respect I don't know how Cabby's problem can be put down to ors. If someone told him that they were able to smell him from 10ft away then that's proof positive that there is an odour condition there. It's a pretty common complaint on here that one's friends or family are not able to smell someone but when they are at work thats where the problems start. I think one of the most common theories is that it is down to the stress of being at work makes any underlying odour problem flare up. It is so hard when you cna't smell yourself but I wonder Cabby can you identify any trigger foods that after you eat them you tend to get worse than normal reactions? Dairy, red meat, high fodmap foods are the most common problem foods for those of us here.
