Hi guys. I've been looking into different causes of my illness. I have noticed that my sweat does smell strongly, even after I immediately shower I can smell the B.O under my armpits. I'm not sure if this could be possibly be bromhidrosis or just a result of me LOOKING for the smell anywhere possible. But I do not remember my sweat smelling so pungent before. Any input is appreciated!

Well first you need to look at what you're eating, lots of meat/protein with exacerbate the situation as will lots of spices. Second, and I dont mean to be patronising here, but you've got to make sure you're cleaning yourself properly. You must showever every morning (i'm sure you do) and you must scrub yourself from head to foot, literally every inch of skin that isn't your eyes needs to be scrubbed with something exfoliating and soap. I recommend a body polisher: www.thebodyshop.co.uk/_en/_gb/catalog/product.aspx?ParentCatCode=C_SkinCare&CatCode=C_SkinCare_Accessories&prdcode=67840mThis is very important because the bacteria that live on your skin feed on and live in the dead skin layer, bursting into life when perspiration and apocrine secretions come up from the pores. Remove the dead skin layer and you will significantly reduce the number of bacteria on the skin, and you will reduce their food source. That covers the bacteria, then you need to focus on the other element of this problem, the sweating. Try taking zinc supplements, or possibly magnesium, these are NMDA receptor modulators, zinc in particular blocks current across the receptor. Hyperhydrosis is a problem of excessive autonomic nervous system activity, blocking the NMDA receptors will reduce ANS activity. Lastly you want a decent anti perspirant/ deodorant. I dont want to sound like I'm pimping this but I use: www.amazon.co.uk/Sure-Maximum-Protection-Cream-Pack/dp/B003WUUAZAIt take a few days, maybe a week to start working properly, apply it before you go to bed and after you have showered in the morning. Then apply your normal deo spray over the top. The effect builds up over a week plus until your sweating is greatly reduced (under arm). As with all antiperspirants you must avoid any excersice that make you sweat heavily for it to work!!! anti perspirants work by blocking the pores, but heavy sweating flushes out the pores, these two things are in direct opposition.... choose. How that helps.
