I've tried it. I'm 8 weeks into it and still no sweating. I do however, still have numbness and swelling/lumps. I'm not sure if this is normal-I cannot find any reviews or any info, so I'm posting of hoping others will chime in. All in all, for me, it was worth every penny.

Did you have body odor as well or just sweating. I have a huge sweat problem and terrible bo. I read this treatment might not work on people with bad hyperhidrosis. Ive had 3 surgeries before to remove the sweat glands on my underamrs and they did not help. I still sweat a lot and have bad bo on one side. The other side is not as bad as it used to.

I had my first Miradry treatment in late January 2012. The treatment itself is painless. The numbing shots are the only painful part. Following the treatment, once the numbing agent wears off, it feels like someone is holding a match to your underarms for about 12 hours. Swelling is substantial both under the arms and in the upper arms. I still have swelling and "lumps" under the arms and swelling down the backs of both upper arms. The upside is, though, that I have zero sweating. Previously I had botox injected under the arms thrice yearly at a cost of about $1200 per time, so, $3600 per year. Miradry is expensive, $3000 for two treatments spaced three months apart, but, it is permanent and so is very cost effective for those persons that are having regular Botox injections to lessen underarm sweating. My second Miradry treatment is scheduled in about one month. I am going to do complete the second treatment as the second treatment was pre-paid at the time of the initial treatment even though I seem to have conquered underarm sweating following the first treatment. Hope this is helpful. I think that Miradry will finally be the answer for all those persons that have exhausted every other method at perspiration control! YAY!

I had my first miradry first week of June. My apocrine bromhidrosis was decreased but definitely not on acceptable level. I also still have small lumps in my underarm after 3 weeks. I haven't done my 2nd miradry yet.

Maybe it eliminates the unerarm odour but is it healthy? Recently I read that prespiration is a natural way that our body uses to remove remaining toxins that our liver, kidneys, etc. failed to remove. These toxins build up in our blood from eating unhealthy foods and too much red meat. Shutting the underarm sweat glands will make the toxins stay in the blood and keep building up. Also, I heard that some people reported that an operation eliminated their underarm odour but it returned after a few months and was coming out from other body parts. Why whould that happen? In my opinion, the toxin concentration becomes so high in the blood that they start coming out through the skin pores. Therefore, the best way to eliminate this odor is try to do the blood cleansing, change the diet: eat healthy, less meat, less or no junk. This is just my opinion. I never suffered from excess underarm odour but I just wanted to warn you. It is up to you. Maybe I am wrong.

I think miradry should be able to reduce Appocrine Brom ,but it has to be performed at the highest levels i.e level 4 or 5 .Most of the early patients did not know of the levels and thus they performed on them using lower levels maining 1or 2 on first treatment and level 3 on the last treatment.

I'm considering the Miradry treatment but very worried about not getting the results after spending $3K. My main problem is the sweating - any additional reviews would be greatly appreciated!
