mine started when i was in 3rd year high school.
i am not trying to relate it with my bo/fbo. was it because of puberty? but i read metabolic disorder starts even when you are a child. so doesnt makes sense.
if this is candida/bacteria overgrowth, how come it started during puberty.
i like to believe during puberty your apocrine gland becomes active but my bo/fbo is all over my body so it doesnt completely make sense also.
anyway, i will see a holistic doctor who is also an MD last week of august.
i dont really know if he can help at all. last doctor a gastro didnt.

I only used to have sweaty palms and feet, then puberty struck and my armpits became extremely sweaty.
I might be going to see a doctor for a thyroid analysis.
Also, my sweat has a strong stench of ammonia so I might check my liver and kidneys as well.

The ammonia smell might be due to H PYLORI.

My BO started when I was 12 years old. Thats when I started sweating alot from my butt crack. For some reason although alot of people sweat from their butt crack mine smells bad. I defnitely believe puberty is what caused the BO.
My brother also has BO started at puberty.

My bo started at puberty, 12yrs old. My armpit would sweat uncontrollably, non-stop. It constantly drips from my armpit and made waterlines on both arms, just drips. It slowed down when I wasin my mid twenties. I just turned 56 and the exessive sweating is gone, but the strong odors in both armpits continues. My groin area also got worst. I had a succesful career in the mitlitary. After I retired, I worked for the federal govt. I was not the best at what I do. But, I had a very good attitude. Unfortunately, the stress level at worked made my bo condition worse. I constantly got paranoid. My co-workers were not cruel at all except the ones who visits our work area. Some men were just horrible at making me unconfortable by constantly talking about my condition. It was also horrible during close door meetings. I would feel unconfortable and start feeling very hot and start sweating and smelling. I finally gave up that succesful job... I have been without work since May 2011. My military retired pay is paying part of the bills and my wife's job covers the rest....
The point, it is a long term.... I resigned to the fact that it would be a lifetime contdition for me, like my late father... I am thankful, I am the only one that seemed to have this severe condition.. I have a brother and 3 sisters. Their condition seems not as bad as mine. It also seemed that my kids did not get the severe bo that plauge me and my late father. I have 1 nephew who has this severe bo condition; he is 20 yrs old. I know of no other nieces and nephews who has it, or have it as bad as mine..
I am still trying to find cure. Regular deo dont work, ACV did not work. I am still reading and educating myself and not given up..
Everyone, let us keep trying .

I think I got mine when I was 14 or 15. I don't understand why. I just remember when suddenly during my classes the smell would come up. It was a few years after puberty. I remember I had b.o when I hit puberty but it was not bad and could easily be covered up with deodorant. No problem. Just like everyone else.
It was just too random when I suddenly was back at school and the really bad b.o began.
The only thing I can think of was it was the year I stopped all my sports. So I didn't exercise anymore, and felt no need to because I had a fast metabolism. And I ate a crap load of junk food. It always took a lot to fill me up. So sometimes I wonder if it was that combination. But then I wonder why don't fat people smell bad? (Fat people who became fat from no exercise and too much junk)
I don't understand at all.... I can't remember a time when I took antibiotics. There was no life changing event that brought it along. But It must have something to do with me not exercising anymore and then eating too much dodgy food. At that age I was a real weirdo and used to eat flour/milk powder/raw pasta sticks...because I seriously had a weird/big appetite...Maybe I had pica I'm not sure.

It seems as though you've have handled your condition much better then others. It's kinda ironic how you've mentioned other family members whom you know to have the same issue as yourself. As for myself I don't know of anyone else in my family that do. At least you're not alone in this. You do have family that supports you and doesn't think it's all in your head.I too continue to read up and educate myself about this.. Let's keep fighting.

Also, my sweat has a strong stench of ammonia so I might check my liver and kidneys as well. If your body has a strong stench of Ammonia then you could have a parasite problem, these things excrete ammonia by the gallon. As the best way to eliminate these things, take oregano oil. See a health care specialist and look at "curezone.com" to become more informed.
