Hello I was answering a question to somebody on another forum about TMAU and probiotics and I responded saying that I think probiotics do not help people who suffer from TMAU. But I really don't know, so the question is do probiotics reduce odors from people who suffer from TMAU?

I'm not sure if my case is TMAU but certainly probiotics did not help me or maybe they were just not enough.

Probiotics can help if the cause of TMAU is from bad bacteria in the gut. It is suggested after antibiotics to repopulate the digestive system. However I have heard other people state they take them regularly and they help.
My opinion is that it could help especially as we age. Our bodies stop producing as much of the enzymes we need. Several people with mebo have noted a real problem with dairy, I wonder if taking the lactase enzyme would help them tolerate a little?
