Hi folks,
Results are as follows:
Trimethylamine (TMA) - 56.6 TMA-n-Oxide - 79.6 TMA/TMA-n-Oxide - 0.71
Reference range:
Umol/mmol creat 2.5 - 10.8 Umol/mmol creat 17.0 - 147.0 0.05 - 0.21
It doesn't say whether I have primary, or secondary. And, if I have primary tmau, does this mean that it cannot be treated?
Also, from these results, can anyone tell me if I have it severe, mild etc.
Can anyone offer any advice regarding these results?
Thanks in advance

Hi there, I'm not able to interpret your results and I don't know whether you have TMAU or not. However, I think TMAU can be managed by following a low choline diet. If you google choline foods you'll get a list of them- like on wikipaedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CholineBe careful though, because choline is important in our diets. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I think the forum moderator is able to interpret the results. So make sure to check back again another time.
