Background info: I started noticing I sweat a lot my senior year of high school from my pits/groin - no deodorants worked - later, started realizing people having bad reactions around me (even worse after using Botox for the pits) - and realized I have bromhidrosis.... Used Botox for the pits, stops sweat - doesn't stop my smell apparently. I sweat from my pits, back, chest, & groin a bunch (drenched within 15-30 mins playin ball) so I'm quite positive the smell has a direct correlation.
As for underarm BO, I've found that equal amounts of baking soda & corn starch mixed works wonders (add coconut oil for an even better smell) - BUT, I still have bromhidrosis... I get a whiff of it every now and then but most of the time I honestly have no idea where the smell comes from....
Anyway, I just bought Activated Charcoal & Liquid Chlorophyll from Amazon as I've read about various successes with these. Has anyone tried either or both/has it helped you? Also, does anyone have any idea which I should take first, at what time, etc...?

I'm pretty sure you can take liquid chlorophyll at any time, but with activated charcoal you need to take it 2 hours apart from meals and other meds/supplements because it adsorbs most EVERYTHING apparently.
I will be honest and say neither worked for my particular problem - which is a mystery like many others. But so many people have had success with these, so I wish you the best!

Hi JohnnyBananas
Charcoal I think reduces the odour for me, although it's not something you should take daily in my opinion. Chlorophyll I haven't tried although I would prefer to take Chlorella over it. The most important thing is you get your diet right.

Forgot to mention, I have been dieting without red meat for a few weeks now... (went without it for the whole 40 day lent period as well). Don't know if it has made too big of a difference, but I'm stickin to it.

Is it OK to take the charcoal tablet(s) and go running/exercise directly after?

i've had success with chlorophyll tablets(600mg tablet, once per day) and i think it's right what jcc34 said about diet. I think it's the real cause for my odor(bromhidrosis in the groin for the last 11 years and now for the last few months in my armpits aswell) I noticed that i dont small that mcuh from my armpits after i've eaten fried rich - no idea what type it. maybe sticky white but can't be sure.

Where can you get 600mg chlorophyll capsules. Maximum i can find online is 100mg chlorophyll

What if the body odor is associated with bad breath. Any suggestions?
