One of the things I have noticed about my "condition" is that I always seem to have a light white coating at the back of my tongue, that covers about a square inch in total. It doesnt cover my entire tongue, the way inwhich a candida sufferer may have. Just about an inch in from the back.
I'm fairly certain this isnt normal. How many of you guys have this same problem?

My tongue is fairly pink but front, but I do have white on the back of my tongue and middle. I have been told that another reason for white tongue besides thrush is that when bacteria breaks down sulfur compounds, they come to the top of the tongue and create the fight. It's worse when you have dry mouth or mouth breath, which I do, as more bacteria grows and more sulfur is created. I've seen candida tongue before and my coating is not that thick. It's more of a lighter film.
Do people really have pink tongues? Like completely pink? I was always under the impression that most people have pink tongues with a very light coating.

Sorry, replace "fight" with "film" and "mouth breath" with "mouth breathe" ;D

I also have a perpetual white coating on my tongue (which changes to yellow when I drink coffee or tea) Tongue scrapper helps but even after scrapping, there'll still be a thin layer of white coating. I'm fairly sure the tongue coating is a source of BB but I've tried various methods like baking soda, salt etc and it doesn't help. Actually the tip of my tongue is pink and doesn't change colour even when I drink coffee or tea, which is why I believe a normal person should have a pink colour tongue w/o any coating.
