Re: good for me.
Are you also changing the food you eat in this second experiment? What product are you using for the vitamins?

Re: good for me.
Yes, those foods are horrible for eliminating body odor. I've had this since kindergarten, when I was sent home from school by the school nurse, and asked questions like how many times does my mom bathe me. Which leads me to another thought. I guess we're not the only ones suffering. People around us suffer, too. The people that love us. Whether it is my mom getting blamed for my odor, being accused of not bathing me, or our loved ones having to deal with our depression. It hurts seeing someone you love sad.
I got off on my point. I am 31 years old now. And I know those foods are not going to help you.

Re: good for me.
tcox,
I'm sorry that happened to you and your mom, and that you've been suffering pretty much most of your life with this. Yes, I can vouch that as a mother of two sons with body odor conditions, moms do suffer tremendously trying to find a solution for their sons when no doctor can give a reasonable explanation. That's why I'm here doing what I do. Just a few days ago, I had to wipe down the wall of my younger son's bathroom, and mopped the floor with water with vinegar, poured 1/2 gallon of vinegar in the toilet water tank, and washed the bathtub with vinegar, baking soda, borax, and Comet with bleach. I washed the shower curtains, bathroom area rug, and his sheets by soaking them first in vinegar, draining the water, soaked it in baking soda, drained the water, and the washed it with Tide Free. The odor is gone in the bathroom, but my husband says that he can still smell it in his bedroom.
My older son used to have this extremely strong odor for 8 years, but he's controlled it for the past 3 1/2 years with the TMAU odor management protocol, and my younger son used to not have it so strong. However, he was extremely stressed last week with finals at college, applying for a job, and other personal stuff, and I think it triggered this very strange odor that is identical to how his brother's used to be. He did well in his finals, and looks like he got the job, so now it seems that his odor is slowly but surely going down to "HIS normal" level.
I'm glad you've joined our community, tcox. We are here to help each other find solutions to at least control the odor while we try to get testing and research available to all sufferers around the world, not only for TMAU, but for other types of odor conditions.

Re: good for me.
z3z,
Welcome to our community! And thank you for sharing your experience with us.
I agree that more than one type of body odor condition seem to not do well with eggs and beans. Maybe you can try to eliminate them from your diet as you also try the various supplements you are trying to see if in a couple of weeks your odor level decreases. It might take a little longer than a couple of weeks though. I bet you'll see you odor decrease, even if not completely gone.
Also, if you find it difficult to express yourself at any time in English, you can write your original in Spanish, and I'll translate it for you on your same post. This is only if you feel comfortable doing so, and don't mind the help. But if you are in the mood to write in English, or both, in English and Spanish, by all means, do so. Either way is fine. We have a Filipino thread in this forum, and I enjoy communication with them using Google Translate
Thank you for sharing, and welcome again.
