New possible working method
Haven't tried this out myself. But basically you iron on these fabric tags to your clothes and it prevents BO for a full 24 hours! No deodorant needed! They also have no fragrance too. Heres the website for more info and to order the product: www.odegon.com/
PLEASE post back and tell me if it works or any other questions.

Re: New possible working method
This really is a cool IDEA but its probably made for "normal" levels of BO. If its "scientifically proven" as they say they should really dedicate a section of the website to that. It could just be activated charcoal developed into a patch. (Not to say simple things don't work, though). In any case the website is lacking some convincing info.
Here we go, I emailed them this:

Hi, you say your product is "scientifically proven." Do you have any trials, or science to show how your patches work?
There are also no ingredients listed. This is an interesting idea, but your website description is extremely vague.

It showed up in the paid ad column on the right (top billing in a search engine, so you click there first). The website said specifically it was for TMAU (gutsy, I must say) but it was just herbs like "ginger" which "aid in digestion." I do love ginger, and man I wish it was as simple as just digestion!
The tipoff was the product also showed in other google searches for other random disorders, where they would say it was for another disorder and all they did was swap the word "TMAU" on the website with whatever you searched for. They probably just went through the dictionary of disorders and created a website for each pretending it would cure it.
If I remember right they didn't even bother with the usual FDA disclaimer "this product is not meant to cure a disease"
Anyway. Yes, good to stay open minded with new products, but also cautious and discerning.

Re: New possible working method
I did get a kind and informed response from the website, so personally my opinion is they are not scammers. Some interesting discussion has resulted, so I will hold off on any other comments for a bit.

Keep me informed. I'm thinking it could be something charcoal based, etc that could be of use for people (not me, unfortunately) with their odor relatively controlled already.

No no no people. This was supposed to be used to protect the military from nasty chemicals. Don't believe me then search odegon on google. Or just go on this website: www.gizmag.com/odegon-iron-on-tags/15724/
It isn't charcoal! This is legit and it helps with ANY case of BO. I highly recommend you try it for the benefit of others. This could be the one cure to our problems.!

I remember in the old MSN groups, there was one who kept advertising some product called Dr. Mist. Said that it would put an end to all our TMAU and other body odor problems, and she did it with such sincerity and passion that many ended up believing it was genuine.
Did it turn out to be what many expected from her advertising? I say no. It's just like any other product out there, except it sounded more unique and original and had very good marketers.
The same thing is going on now with that odegon thing. Many will take this seriously and with high hopes, only to end up being very disappointed later on (just like that other time).

Lol the funny thing is that I knew that my post's sounded like I was advertising. If you don't want to try out the product I seriously don't care. I'm not saying it work's- it may just be a complete waste of money. But there might as well be a chance that it could work and it could change your life. No need to get up your hopes for it. It's your choice.
