Anyone on here interested in being Facebook friends or e-mail pals? I'm currently layed off from my now old job and bored outta my mind. Although, one good thing about that is my odor has gone down by about 75%. Not even sure why? Anyway, anyone else here lonely and bored? lol.

Beautifulsoul, people need your email address or something to find you on Facebook.

Thanks for the reply Adrian-I sent you a request. So, maybe stress is a major factor in my odor then? It's weird because I've been eating whatever I want lately too... My fb info for anyone who wants to add me: MichelleJustGotPaidForster. Michelle

Hormones can block the fmo3 pathway. I find under extreme anxiety my odour extremely bad. anxiety makes the body produce adrenaline which is probably blocking the pathway. Thanks for the add :-) catch up with you soon.

Hi Everyone, I have set up a private TMAU Facebook page. Only members of the Facebook group will see it and will see the post. I set it up this way because I know that many of us still keep TMAU a secret from many friends and even some family members. Here is the link to the group: www.facebook.com/groups/383143635068367/members/#!/groups/383143635068367/ --Mike

Okay everyone, it's set up and all you have to do is type Trimethlaminuria into the search bar on Facebook and the group should come up. Click on it and you'll see the group. Then click on "join Group" in the upper right side.
Thanks,
Mike

Sorry, the site still needs more work. I've set it back up as a "secret" group until I can determine what shows up on people's profiles. I was hoping to make it so that no information about the group or actions taken would show up on the timeline. I'll have this figured out by tomorrow. My kids are begging be to have a sword fight with them so I must go. Once they're in bed I'll get back to this. Again, sorry for the confusion.

That makes sense. I wonder if maybe it's just a hormonal imbalance then? If only it would stay this way once I start working again. Your welcome will chat with ya soon! Thanks for the add :-) catch up with you soon.

Okay, so here is the situation. I want to keep the Facebook TMAU Group setting on "secret" which, according to Facebook, mean "Only members see the group, who's in it, and what members post." I would like to do this because I know that many of us are still not comfortable talking about our condition outside of our support groups and if I lessen the security setting to "Closed" then anyone can see the group, although only members will see the posts. As a result of the setting being set to "secret", if you try to search for the group facebook will not show a result for such a search. The only way to join the group is to be invited in. If you are interested in joining the group, please either respond to this post with your Facebook user ID or Facebook email (note other will see it) or if you want to keep that infomation more private you can message me. Once I get your Facebook user ID or FB email, I'll invite you to the group and then you can respond and join.
Here are my Facebook User Id and email as examples: Facebook user ID: michael.harris.1029770 Facebook Email: michael.harris.1029770@facebook.com You'll find both of these under your "accout settings" page
Thanks,
Mike
