I am one of the lucky people on here that have had success controlling their body odor. I would just give you a quick summary....
How Bad Was My Odor?
I believe my odor was definitely the worst case ever! I cant even begin to explain how bad it was. I smelled like a decaying fish, sometimes like garbage or sewage. Strangers yelled at me that I smelled like rotten fish, a dead body or like trash. People literally closed their nose with their hands when they came with feet from me, that's how bad it was.
How Was Life Like Then?
To be honest? I went from the very social butterfly to being overtly depressed, suicidal and gain over 100 lbs. I had to quit work, quit school and just shut myself in doors. I was scared of the outside world, I actually stayed indoors for 6 months with out stepping out of my house (my eyes are getting teary as I write this)
How Did I Change My Life?
I finally decided that it was time to stop looking at the negative side and look at the positive; I was alive! A wise man once said "As long as you are breathing there is always hope" I decided to be happy again, so even though I was still reeking of a terrible odor, I decided to still go out in public and live my life as it should be. I researched on foods that triggered my odor, what hygiene products worked for me and what didn't so finally I had a routine.
What Exactly Helped My Odor?
I controlled my odor with a very strict routine at first. The choline diet worked best for me so I followed it strictly. I avoided fish, meat, dairy products and sugar like a very bad habit. I became a big detox fan, took the right pills and used the right hygiene products. Note that your odor took years to get work, and it might take months to slowly get rid off.
How Am I Now?
I work fulltime in at an hospital and am also in school for nursing. I hang out with friends, go on dates and people don't cover their nose, call me names or even react to me at all. Although sometimes I get paranoid that my odor might trigger or something I just try to stay 100% positive. Have I been cured? No, if I stop my routine I would definitely be back to square one and Doctors can't find whats wrong with me. I can't take the tmau test because I can't do the choline load cos I have work and school to go to.
What Are The Must Have Things?
I would list the things that are Must Have in my routine, they work for me tested and trusted:
For Supplements:
'*Vitamin B12 (Riboflavin)
*Activated Charcoal
*Chlorophyll (I use the liquid)
*Chlorella (people are skeptic about this but it works)
*Probiotics (The higher billion count the better)
*Super Digestive Enzymes
*Zinc (Some body odors can be elevated by just taking zinc)
*Magnesium Ciltrate (Serves as a great laxative too)
*Smooth Move laxative tea
For hygiene products:
*Any low or PH balanced product works great but test first.
*Bamboo or charcoal soap
*Dudu Osun soap (Its an African soap that does wonders)
*Arm & Hammer unscented powder solid bar(For your underarms)
*Lemon Juice (For cleaning the skin)
*Epsom Salt (For detox bath)
*Tongue scraper
Are There Very Important Tips?
*Stay positive, that always the very first tip and everything else would be easy
*Avoid perfumes or cologne, trust me it does more harm than good. try a light body mist or spray that is very light scented with NO alcohol base.
*Wear light free clothes, if you think covering your body from head to toe helps, you are just making your odor worse.
*Avoid 100% polyester clothing just like perfumes, they make your odor worse as well. Try cotton clothing or acrylic mixed with polyester clothing
*Avoid anything stress related....it is a huge odor trigger.
*Use laxatives...the trick is to use it at the right time.
I would try to post a full detailed list of my routine and also look for my former post on other websites. If you have any questions, please PM me on contact me on Skype @ MissFizi. Keep Smiling!
