Curious question. How did you guys realized that you have body odor? From what I know, we normally can't smell ourselves. What made you realized that you have body odor. For me, I started begin self conscious when I realized people coughing, rubbing noses, and even people holding a finger to their noses. Hope to hear from the rest of you. Actually up till now I don't even know if those reactions means I smell bad. That is why I want to know.

on my last exam 3 months ago I was hanging out with my friends before the exam, one guy goes 'smell like pooo' when i was talking to him, had no idea what i was talking about so I just ignored it. then i went out with my friends to celebrate that night and some guy said I smell so I did get paranoid but I thought it was cause I had my guinea pig living in my room and the smell got on me. so the next night i went to a party and people ignored me and i heard another guy make a comment. even though i had showered and made sure i wore clean clothes and lots of perfume. and it's been like this ever since. sometimes i have been out and I don't smell. i can tell by other peoples behvaiour, when i do smell they ignore me when I don't everyone's really sweet. my odor is pungent i think but not so bad that people react really dramatically like holding their hands over their nose but i might see someone in the supermarket check out counter turn around to see who's stinking up behind them. so yeah. it's really hard because i'm 18, just graduated and i was really popular and well liked, had a lot going for me. now i wanna take a year off to find out what's wrong with my body. I wanna hide basically. I have no idea how or what way to approach this though. I see so many people here trying different things and I'm just.. clueless, don't know where to start. at least if I had tmau or a known illness i could have a rough idea of what prevents it but I don't. don't know what i smell like, don't know where to start. i've lost everything.
