Well, it is good to know sometime that one is not alone in a trial. I am 50, and I have been dealing with this problem, most of my adult life. It is more than embarrassing to know that you have an odor. I have been trying remedies(and still trying) for many years to no avail. I have seen plenty of GI docs, and I was once told that I would have to live with it. So I really just live with it in quiet dignity. I know that I am a very clean person, but I know that people wonder because of the way I smell. I would encourage you to continue to try things, but most of all, KEEP YOUR HEAD UP, and know that you are still a good person to know.

I pray you're doing well.I know this isn't easy for you. I know where ever Ray Jay is she appreciates the kind words. Like you said before,it's always good to know that you're not alone. But I must be honest ,it sure feels like you're alone. Especially when you yourself is living in the body we were given. It's like regardless of all the effort that we put into visiting these doctors we as people still walk the walk of shame. I sometime wish too go off into a dessert island, but whose that helping? Surely not myself. So we live each day and continue to fight and deal with this.It sure does hurt to feel like the entire world was against us just for something they don't understand.Heck, I don't understand this.Still God created me and the entire world in his own image. So I truly believe that he will see us through this. Always hear to listen.GOD BLESS YOU IN YOUR JOURNEY!!

I was vegan for few months and I was almost odor free and my hair stopped falling - I was sweating but no odor or very little, started with green juicing, raw fruits and veg and after a week eating even more starchy fruits like bananas and still planty of green leaves and straches like potato or rice no gluten - O meat or any animal proucts I was eating more food then ever in my life and more sugar that I could have imagine - - now when I`m back to my typical low carb high fat diet my odor is back and hair are falling. All toppical stuff which stppes me sweating makes me smell much more.. I guess I have to get back to vegan path and pray that it will work again ....

I don't think we should have to starve ourselves just so others will accept us. We are the ones whose living this nightmare! I see you've taken some steps towards possibly eliminating the odor a bit.Glad it works for you! How long have you've dealt with your odor? Do you notice your smell?(me. I sometimes do) Do you get comments from all people?(strangers, family, professional,)Any how its nice to meet you. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas as well!!

I have been dealing with this ongoing bb and bo for about 5yrs now. During the birth of my son I was given a large amount of antibiotic a that was the beginning of the end my normal life. Has anyone else had their bo or bb start after antibiotics?

I think there might be a connection in my case. While I was growing up, I was prone toward developing middle ear infections almost every time I came down with the common cold. It probably was a genetic predisposition because my mother said my estranged father used to battle terrible earaches too. Well, the doctor who treated me for these ear infections prescribed for me an antibiotic called Amoxycillin frequently. My mother said it seemed like every time I visited the doctor he was prescribing me "that little pink pill>' I will tell you that my earliest memories of having peers react to my body odor was around the Fifth Grade. I really do think there is a connection because I read that antibiotics can mess with the microbial balance in your GI tract. I,at least in my opinion, out of my entire family have had the most GI tract-related disorders and discomfort. Well, that being said, how have you been doing? It says you logged-in as a Guest. I don't know if you ever decided to become a posted member of this site. If so, I hope you find some fellowship and maybe some new information to help you in your struggles. If not, best of luck to you, and your problem starts to recede over time!

I hear you when you say that you feel like your normal life ended with the onset of your bad breath and body odor. I often reflect on how my life might have been if I never developed this terrible issue. Like I said in the above mentioned post, I've been battling this malady since Middle School. It's been over one-quarter century since then(I'm going on 37) and I'm still fighting this. It's definitely affected my social confidence among other things. I try to do the best I can in life but sometimes it is terribly frustrating and hurtful to feel like you are weighed down by invisible chains. People aren't sympathetic and want to believe that your apparent lack of good personal hygiene is the reason why those chains are there to begin with.
