Ka'Chava is a new line of nutrition powders that promises to cure everything that ails you. I tried the Vanilla, which is advertised
as tasteless and sweet. I was surprised to wake up next morning smelling strongly of chocolate, chai spice, and a suspicious fecal
odor. This lasted about three days in spite of bathing. It's expensive as well. It is available on Amazon, but try it at your own
TMAU risk!

Hello,
I would like to know if anyone tried to remove his hair with elektrolysis. I heard that it would remove the armpit odor. I read that once all hair is removed with electrolysis the body would absorb the stinky sweat. But I couldn't find any studies.
Another option to solve the problem could be the radical excision, but I don't if any clinic is doing it anymore. Once all sweat glands are removed from the armpits there can't be any odor.
Maybe someone could share his experience.

Yes, mental issues can contribute to erectile dysfunction (ED). Stress, anxiety, depression, and other psychological factors can affect sexual desire and function. If you're experiencing ED, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional to explore both physical and mental health factors. If you are looking for any genuine ED cure then must try fildena 100Performance anxiety: The fear of not performing sexually can lead to a vicious cycle, where anxiety itself causes erectile dysfunction. Relationship problems: Issues in a relationship, such as communication difficulties or lack of intimacy, can contribute to ED. Substance abuse: Excessive alcohol or drug use can impair sexual function. Underlying medical conditions: Sometimes, mental health issues can be a symptom of an underlying medical condition that also affects sexual function. Treatment options: Therapy, medication, or a combination of both can be effective in addressing both mental health issues and erectile dysfunction. It's important to remember that seeking help for mental health concerns is a sign of strength, not weakness. If you're experiencing ED or other mental health issues, don't hesitate to reach out to a healthcare professional.

Resveratrol
I tried taking red grape juice for resveratrol but it didnt help with TMAU for me - but helps my memory.
I did find if I took too much though I felt stressed - so dose is important.
I can tolerate half a cup and no more per day. Maybe its worth a try. Helps memory definitely. And I felt that low choline was affecting my memory maybe a bit so am thinbking of trying fish oil next.
FISH OIL - OMEGA 3 OILS (can be got from non smelly fish such as farmed salmon or algae -special vegan supplements)
Someone on the MEBO blog says taking fish oils doesnt make her TMAU worse but helps metabolise the Trimethylamine TMA smelly stuff better so it helps TMAU too, I am going to try it at the weekend.
Also I am thinking of pregressing to vegan omega 3 oils after this - the omega 3 is in the algae that fish eat,. SO you can get supplememts of those omega 3 oils instead for vegans or anyone that cant have fish oil. I'll get back to you when I've tried it
See the MEBO blog about fish oil and TMAU. Below :
In sum, this study suggests that DHA-enriched fish oil not only blocks gut bacteria to some degree from taking up choline in the diet, but it also causes accelerated FMO activity in the liver
As a result, smelly TMA is metabolized into odourless TMAO at a more efficient rate. Thus, it increases choline circulation levels in the blood. This is all very beneficial to TMAU sufferers. And should reduce the odour as well as providing the body with a bit of the choline that it needs to function well. Its TMA trimethylamine that causes the smell, not choline.

Hi all I have strange odours - mine mainly come from my digestive system though. I had them since having severe gastroenteritis.
I may have halitosis a bit but I think this has been lessened by drinking water regularly every two to three hours I have a whole glass of water or tea or herbal tea. Keeping hydrated. So my main problem is from my digestive system.
The main problem I have is awful odours if I eat certain things.....
I used to have IBS but this has got better since I have cut out milk from my diet I now have coconut milk - as I think I am lactose intolerant. There are so many alternative milks now about. Oat and Soya are avail. too. Though I cant have soya.
I have had the awful smells since i had bad gastroenteritis as a young woman.
The things I cannot eat are - large amounts of some nuts, eggs, red meat, beans, seafood and sardines and very oily fish, and these turn out to be things you cannot eat if you have Trimethylaminuria (TMAU)-a rare condition = which most doctors haven't heard of.
The foods above contain choline which if you haven't got the right gut bacteria turns into smelly compound called TMA in your gut.
So for this reason I think I have TMAU - I recommend looking into it as it may be relevant. Especially if these foods make you smell worse.
The odour I have can be musty, like rubber, faecal. like and really offensive like manure... - if I eat the wrong things at all. People at work may comment indeed, they don't understand of course.
(Red onions are also the worst for me, or swede for some reason. Any onions as well make me smell like faeces - really awful.)
The things I do to cope are :
1. Keep abreast of research and connect so I don't feel alone - especially during the early years with it 2. Avoid any foods that cause really bad odour 3. Make a food diary so you can see if there is a correlation with what you eat - the odours may be several days later 4. Find ways to relax - exercise - walking in the fresh air or sport outside (reduces stress) nature, reading and prayer or meditation.
If you think you have TMAU the best cause of action is to read a lot on the web and try to modify diet. You can also take riboflavin (a B vitamin) I take it in a B complex vitamin supplement, And some people take copper chlorophyllin, or charcoal tablets (dont help me). You can also get antibiotics if properly diagnosed - but it may come back unless your doctor suggests it.
I also think that having omega 3 oil surprisingly may help according to this MEBO blog - just found this out. I am trying to get some vegan stuff from algae as apparently omega 3 is in the algae fish eat - this may help so you dont need to take it from the fish themselves if you dont want. This is needed for my memory as I think its a bit worse as I'm avoiding all the choline foods, and it is needed so am trying to get it in other ways. But thats just my feeling.
I have found that algae that make the omega 3 oils in the fish as this avoids the build up of mercury that you may get if you get a lot of oily fish oils like mackeral or sardines and (I cant anyway as I would smell like a fish then ! )
I can luckily eat salmon (farmed) and tuna though as they don't affect me - but any sea fish or seafood does affect me.
AT WORK -
I also wear purfume at work and carry wet wipes with purfume on so that I can get them out and just rub them on my skin to mask the odour quickly -if the odour gets bad.
Amazon have 4711 wipes with purfume on. I just have one in my pocket at all times.
I also recommend telling someone if you can - who you trust at work as it will help you not feel so alone. They may not have heard about this condition, if there is someone who is kind and will be sensible at your work that you can trust to take you seriously. That way if anyone says something there will be someone who understands to talk to and they may even stick up for you and say you cant help it to someone. And you wont feel so alone. Or you may choose to ask them to keep it private.
The MEBO blog is worth a look - there is an article on use of fish oil for TMAU that I will post separately. I am trying the vegan version of omega 3 oils from algae. But haven't started it yet to get more omega 3 oils in my system which is meant to be good for TMAU.
If I eat anything new I do it at the weekend and in small bits to try to get my system used to it.
MEBO is all about systemic malodours research - you have to get used to the clunky site - but you can search on the research bit.
see meboblog.com
Hope something helps you - if your condition is different the site may still help anyway as all about malodours and different conditions.
Take care - and wishing you all on here good progress on your journey to the answers and cure you need,
God bless Al

Vitamin B12 helps with memory when you are on a low-choline diet. Do not take too much of it, however, as you can develop vitamin B12 toxicity (which happened to me).

I have TMAU I think as I get bad odour when eating fish, or meat, or egg, or beans which are the main trigger foods.
I can however eat farmed Salmon (not wild sea fish ) and tinned tuna for some reason - but any other mackerel or sardines or seafood and I smell like rotten fish or garbage !
However I am interested in upping my omega 3 oils as this seems to be good for everything -in the brain, memory and body and reduces inflammation too.
1. Has any body with TMAU tried flax seed oil or even fish oil as an extra and does it make you smell ?
2. Also has anyone noticed there memory declining with the low choline diet ? (This is why I want to get more omega 3.)
It's amazing the amount of things that omega 3 seems to help in the body ?

Spironolactone 100mg cured my horrible armpit odor BUT I couldn’t tolerate the side effects. I heard there’s a Spironolactone cream but I don’t know if it’s effective. Some people combine both for acne.

I have been suffering from Herpes for the past 1 years and 8 months, and ever since then I have been taking series of treatment but there was no improvement until I came across testimonies of Dr. Silver on how he has been curing different people from different diseases all over the world, then I contacted him as well. After our conversation he sent me the medicine which I took according .to his instructions. When I was done taking the herbal medicine I went for a medical checkup and to my greatest surprise I was cured from Herpes. My heart is so filled with joy. If you are suffering from Herpes or any other disease you can contact Dr. Silver today on this Email address: drsilverhealingtemple@gmail.com or Whatsapp +2348120513902

Just wondering, how long are you all stink free? I can go for up to 12 hours only and then I have to reapply deodorant or take a shower. Thanks

Hi everyone,
I don’t know if people are still on this message board but I wanted to reply in case my response can help someone out there. Thanks to Kia’s original post, I learned about Spironolactone. I’d never heard of it before and I was lurking online EVERY SINGLE DAY trying to get rid of my smelly armpit odour. I’d been suffering from bromhidrosis since I was 13. I’m now 40. I remember the stares, the laughs, the anxiety and mostly the depression/isolation. I’ve lost a big chunk of my life to this condition. I turned 40 and gained lots of weight because I’m basically a hermit and was able to find a work from home full time job. I was going to end my life if I didn’t find a solution. I saw Kia’s comment back in 2017 but I was too afraid to try and fail again to find a solution and I couldn’t get a physician to prescribe me the drug. A few months ago my doctor prescribed the medication to me for high blood pressure. I started by taking 50 mg/day but I barely saw improvements in my bo and I’d taken it for almost 1 month. I came to terms with the fact that I stank. Well, I began to take 100mg/day and poof! Odor is gone within a few days. Literally. I also tend to have BV and I was too afraid to talk to my mom about stuff like that so I stank really badly in highschool. I can’t believe I graduated college! I sometimes I feel like I have no energy left or will to love. Thanks to the internet, I found boric acid suppositories and I make them myself to get rid of BV/yeast infections and odour. It works! I hope my story can help/give someone hope. I’m so scared to start my life and I feel like a kid again. I’m also deeply scarred by my experience and I’m still afraid of life. I can finally be happy but I’ve lost many precious years. If anyone needs to talk I can come back to this board.
Thanks, Hopeful Again

Post by Hand sanitizer on May 6, 2024 3:53:02 GMT
I had one of my pits smelling like onions. I put a bunch of hand sanitizer on my hands and wiped it all over my pits. It burned a little. I let it stay in place a few minutes in shower. Then sprayed it with hot water in the shower. Very painful burning sensation. No deodorant. Pits have zero smell rest of the day. Don’t want to do this too often as I imagine the alcohol will mess up the skin over time. But it definitely knocked back the bacteria in my pits better than soap and water.
