I suffer from hyperhidrosis in my feet which give off a smell (can sometimes clear a room) and although botox helped a bit it was extremely expensive.
I stumbled across three different sites on the web where people claimed they stopped their hyperhidrosis through taking potassium. It should be noted, high levels of potassium are dangerous so not a step to take lightly. Also potassium is linked to sodium levels so you can knock one out of balance by taking the other, the same can be said for taking zinc, copper etc on their own.
Reading up on electrolyte imbalance I think it could definitely play a part in the cause, and its something I have never thought of before. Could it be that simple?
Has anyone with this problem had their electrolytes checked? Have you ever tried taking electrolytes and did they help?
