Has anyone tried using natural, non-antibacterial soaps? Such as natural olive oil soap. Or has anyone tried not using soap at all, just bathing with a washcloth or brush and water?

Has anyone tried using natural, non-antibacterial soaps? Such as castile soap. Or has anyone tried not using soap at all, just bathing with a washcloth or brush and water? Hello what, Hope you have a wonderful Christmas as well as a Happy New Year! As for the question you've asked about, yes I tried non antibacterial soap and natural before. But,I' m curious as to know why you asked this kinda question? Is their a reason? As for just bathing with plain water, never.

Thanks, Malisha. Same to you!
Did the non-antibacterial soap worsen your body odor? I ask because I've heard of people that have started using natural/organic soaps, or have ditched bathing with soap altogether, and they've seen an improvement in their body odor.
Hope I don't creep or even gross anyone out with this, ha. It really isn't as crazy and odd as it seems: So far, I've been washing with only lukewarm water (I use castile soap to bathe when I really need it, like if I get dirt on me or something like that. I also still use antibacterial soap for my hands, and I plan to replace this soap with something like Dr. Bronner's liquid soap). It's helped my skin (soap was drying out my armpits), but my body odor seems to be the same. Good thing is, you could expect it to be worse because I'm not using any soap, but it isn't at all. Seriously, at least for me, water is really all that is needed to get rid of my armpit smell. With a few splashes of water and some gentle scrubbing, the smell is gone. The smell eventually comes back, unfortunately, but when it does, water always quickly and effectively washes it away.

Merry Christmas
I'm not at all grossed out by your comment about only using water. I now understand why you asked this particular question.I do know of people whom I read about stating how they only use natural products.I have a friend whose in the business of selling natural soaps, lotions, deodorants, etc. This does make sense that something that is chemical free doesn't make oneself smell worser. So this is good to know that it's a bit helpful to you.

Thank you! Yeah, I know I'd have even better results if I were to change my diet. I still haven't really done that yet. I also have yet to find a deodorant that truly works.

Hey I totally agree with you about the diet.I too haven't changed my diet entirely. By the way I recall seeing one of the post here from a member dealing with the underarm and they said the deodorant they use works.I just can't remember who. Sorry I can't be of much help!

Hey there what.Hope you've enjoyed the last days in 2014.Hope the New Year be exactly that (New Year) for you and I and all the body odor sufferers.I had an awful experience on the last day of Dec 31st at physical therapy. It was kinda hard doing my exercise to heal my body with others looking and staring at me with giggles on there faces. As well as loud out bursts,to hearing the staff and there clients talking about the girl/lady that smells so bad.I even heard someone say they felt bad for me.At least that one person had some kind of compassion for me,but not everyone.Any how the deodorant,I read the ingredients and sounds promising! Thanks for the info.By the way I would like to speak to you more,if you like?
