I also have faith in this product and alongside my other supplements feel that it has really helped me get a handle on my tmau condition. I think you need to be on it a month before you see results and in this time frame you need to really stick to the low choline diet.

Carebear,
It's probably the low choline diet that you are having success with. You should try to stop taking the supplement and see if you are still having success.

I have not been tested, but I am quit sure I have Trimethylaminuria. I bought Liv.52 - the equivalent european product, and had very bad reactions from it. I was extremely tired after a few days, and also got headaches. Don't know if this is because of my liver detoxing or because of other causes. Anyway, I couldn't notice any reduction in my BO, but I only took those pills for two weeks. Had to stop because of the side effects.
Wish you all good luck with this product!

I have been diagnosed with tmau 1 since end of Sept 2011. Now I have been on the low choline diet for some time but still had bad times especially my hair, that sour milk, wet dog smell especially when I bent, stooped quickly, well since taking this supplement this odour has gone, i don't get it when I change direction in the car like i used to or when I stoop quickly or when I scratch the top of my scalp and smell my fingers, I use to be able to get the odour pretty strong when I did this but no more, now don't get me wrong this has to, in my instance, be done in conjunction with the low choline diet and it took a month or more before I saw the results but I have noticed considerable improvements in my case, I am not saying it will have the same effect on everyone but I am glad I came across it and will happily continue using it, I started of taking 2-3 day for a while but this week have gone back to one a day and i will see how i get on as one a day is the stated dosage for long term use. I take this in conjunction with the charcoal and chlorophyll although obviously at different times.

Unfortunately, the original POSTER DECIDED TO RAVE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT AFTER USING IT FOR ONLY THREE WEEKS!!! This is a MAJOR PROBLEM on the internet regarding TMAU. People have a problem for yeras, try something for a few days or weeks, have a few good odor free days, and VOILA! They go on the internet an say they are cured! Look, we all want a cure and we want it now. But...COULD YOU WAIT A FEW MONTHS BEFORE TELLING US YOU ARE CURED? This way we don't all run out to the store for another disappointing product. If I posted on here everytime I thought I was cured after trying some product or another, I would have two dozen "cured" postings! PLEASE... folks....verify that the cure works...BY WAITING A SIGNIFICANT TIME BEFORE POSTING! THAT WAY WE'LL REALLY KNOW! Three weeks? I don't think so.

Hey there... I have been taking Livervare for 5 months now..... I don't smell anymore like any of the TMAU symptoms (you know what I'm talking about) No one turns around anymore and looks at me. I used to smell myself and would get nauseated.. no more.. I still take other supplements like chlorella for body odour and still do the choline diet. I do cheat sometimes with beef because the livercare allows me too. I also ozonate my water with an ozonator (you can buy a cheap one online at ebay probably) The ozonated water kills any TMAU that is left in your gut. This is not paid advertisement... because I didn't tell you WHERE to buy this supplement Just try it...but stick with it for at least 2 months to notice a difference (I noticed it within a month)

I have TMAU, which is a condition that gives off horrible odours from all parts of my body because of choline. My liver is missing an enzyme to prevent this. I have to be on a low choline diet. After taking Livercare, The odours stopped completely! It really does regenerate liver cell enzymes. My theory is it regenerates the missing enzyme needed to break down choline or something like that. Long story short, I don't smell anymore. I almost contemplated suicide because of the looks people would give me, and being ridiculed and laughed at. No more!J

2 people posting only minutes apart, saying pretty much the same thing.Yea I ain't falling for it. Quote "This is not paid advertisement... because I didn't tell you WHERE to buy this supplement Just try it" Hmm...You didn't tell us where we should but it, but rather WHAT we should buy. Doesn't make a difference where I buy something, as long as I do Livercare company still makes a sale.

Hi Furaha "LiverCare" and "Liv.52" contain different herbs. "LiverCare" contains caper bush, chicory, black nightshade, arjuna, yarrow, cassia occidentalis linn, tamarisk. "Liv.52" contains Himsra, Kasani, Mandur bhasma, Kakamachi, Arjuna,Kasamarda,Biranjasipha, Jhavuka Which supplement did you take? Do you stop taking the supplement after your odor disappears? Thanks. It is the same product. Himsra is the Indian name for caper, Mandur for chicory, Kakamachi for nightshade...
