Try a mild antiseptic cream (Sudocream is fab) and dont use any deodorant, the smell and cause will go away forever, you will never have to use expensive deodorant again.... Any antiseptic nappy cream will do...... Good luck and smell the roses.......

I have the same problem. I went to my dermatologist and my doctor and they told me to try out different deodorants including men's. I tried a men's deodorant and it worked! I only use it when I'm working out most of the time or I would wear perfume over it. The deodorant I use is the Degree men's deodorant in motion sense! It works so well!

1. If your dehydrated, makes you smell like doodoo cuz there is no water to "clean" your system, most people are dehydrated and dont even know it. 2. You must consume either, real salt, celtic salt, or himalayan salt. The latter has 84 trace minerals that our bodies need and its very good for us. We need plenty of good salt. 3. Stop eating the franken-wheat. All bread, wheat, pastas....etc have franken-wheat (glutten) in them and it makes you bloated and also cause this odor. 4. Pay attention to the ingredients if you cant pronouce it dont put it in your body!!! 5. Fast; this works wonders, you feel lighter, the smells goes away, you lose weight, and you allow your body to repair itself. I usually fast when Im asleep cuz ur fasting anyway plus between 4 - 8 hours after i wake up then i eat only meat, veggies, nuts, eggs, cheese (real kind), and fruits. Of course organic is always better, but if not available do the best you can I have had this issue as well and these tips helped me out a lot. Every so often the smell does come back and its usually connected to my diet, for we are what we eat. We must have our temples "clean" as the good book says! Fasting and Praying works!! Cheers PS All of us dont know each other, yet we all have the same problem, the one thing in common we have is food! Illuminati is poisoning all of us and we need to be weary of thier food! God is the way,.

The person who posted about refined sugar and simple carbohydrates has an excellent point. I have chronic candida yeast overgrowth, caused by a sugar addiction or 'candy disease'. When it's controlled, all is well, but when the yeast is active (when I eat a lot of sugar), I get the onion odor in my armpits. Another weird symptom of candida overgrowth is an itchy rectum. We would never go to the doctor about this stuff, would we? The solution to yeast overgrowth is to eliminate simple carbs from your diet as much as possible, and to eat lots of yogurt and/or probiotics. I've lived with candida for 20 years, and this is the only thing that works for me. Hope this helps!

Keep an eye on how much refined sugar and/or flour you are taking in. The bacteria in your body and particularly under your arms uses this as their number one food source and it allows them to do what they do best at optimum speed. Do some experimenting with tracking your diet and the results. Hope this helps. Thank you! I know this has to be diet related and I'm changing that today

Hi weird subject to research. But I really think it is hormones. My mom smelt like that when she hit menopause. This is new to me but I am a special case where I have an iud that has hormones in it. It last from 5-7 years. I'm at almost 6 years. I was creeped out because I quit eating garlic and onions. It also may be tied to liver function

I've suffered since the age of 12, and I am now in my forties. Chlorophyll has not worked for me, but I have found some relief in the vaginal area from taking Fortify for Women probiotics and using the Refresh suppositories. Failing to take the tablet for two days results in the odor returning.
In regards to my underarm onion odor, NOTHING HAS WORKED. This is sooooo embarrassing! People often make rude comments, wrinkle their noses, and spray air freshners/perfumes. I have had underarm Botox treatment, tried Certain Dri (and all of the new commercial Napalm level deodorants), vinegars, baking soda, essential oils, coconut oil, bleach, Hibiclens, Epsom salt, Himalayan salt, sea salt, table salt, lemons, limes, milk of magnesia, clay, witch hazel, vodka, 91% isopropyl alcohol, peroxide, hand sanitizer, Castille soap, regular soap, and no soap. Nothing has worked! Did I mention nothing has worked? At this point, I am thinking about posing as a "hippie" in order to have an acceptable social alibi for my onion fragranced underarms!
For me it is exteremly disheartening to know other people presume that I lack good hygiene. This couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, I bathe multiple times daily, and touch up my armpits throughout the day. Unfortunately, after showering and towel drying, my underarms still smell of onions. As a bonus, my towel also wreaks of onion. Mind you, I only use a towel once before laundering it.
Oh yes, laundry is another issue. I frequently trash clothing because I cannot remove the horrific odor. A dry cleaner once told me I should not wear my suits several times before bringing them in for dry cleaning them. I smiled and advised him that I dry clean after each use. He turned as red as an apple and said "oh my". His sincere suggestion was appreciated.
Thank you for allowing me to share; this has been cathartic and somewhat therapeutic. Unfortunately, this is not an issue I discuss with others face-to-face due to embarrassment on my part and an inability to relate by non-onion odor suffers (OOS). I THANK EVERYONE IN THIS FORUM FOR SHARING.
Has anyone realized success with anything outside of the few items I have already tried (simultaneously sarcastic and serious). I look forward to receiving your suggestions. PLEASE HELP

I follow this 2 step process:
1. Use baking soda as a scrub. Exfoliate underarms daily before applying any products.
2. Use Thai Crystal Deodorant Spray. This is a clear, odorless spray that can also be used on other parts of the body. I purchase mine on Amazon.
Hope this helps!

I have finally found something to get the residual smell out of clothing. It is called "Get Serious!" and is actually a cleaner to get pheromones out of upholstery and carpet to keep pets from resoiling. I have an epileptic dog who has pretty bad seizures (foams at the mouth, bites through his tongue and bleeds everywhere and loses control of his bladder) and this stuff was the only thing that worked to get the blood, saliva and urine out of the carpet. So one day, I decided to try it on the pits of some summer t-shirts and what do you know?! The smell is gone. I mean gone. It does not have the same effect on the actual armpit, though.

You have to eat a vegetarian diet, low in protein, and take aminoacids every day (I took tri-amino combination, plus citrulline), the aminos will help with the protein metabolism, and the smell will go away. Trust me. And drink a lot of water. Good luck!
